In honor of the 60th anniversary of the first release of the "Jungle Emperor" manga this page has been made. Below are listed all releases of the original "Jungle Emperor" manga (comic) books that I know of, with links to pages where you can order them (most of them are not in english, sorry).

Original japanese "Jungle Emperor" ("ジャングル大帝") manga |

The original "Jungle Emperor" manga books can be ordered online from Japan in four editions (made either by Shogakukan or by Kodansha): 2010 reissue (2 volumes), a beautiful limited edition 2009 reissue (large book format), 1999 paperback reissue (2 volumes) and the 1977 reissue (3 volumes). However, the "Jungle Emperor" manga has been re-issued in Japan in several other editions since the 1950s. NOTE: The below ordering links are from Amazon.com Japan, and therefore the website is almost completely in japanese. | A bilingual Japanese and English version of the original "Jungle Emperor" manga has been finally released by Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha! So far only the first half of the entire manga is published, but I expect the remainder to follow soon. The manga was released on August 19, 2013, it has 191 pages and it is in B6 (pocket book) format. You can purchase it through Amazon.com Japan (only in Japanese, but English help is also available) or CD Japan. | ||||||||||||||||

| Carlsen Comics released the "Jungle Emperor" manga again in 2011, this time as a hardcover instead of the previous pocket edition book. The 1st volume came out on November 18, 2011, and the 2nd volume was published on October 2, 2012. You can order them from Amazon.com Germany (in german only). | ||||||||||||||||

The italian version of the "Jungle Emperor" manga books has been first published in Italy by ComicArt in 1986 and later in 1998. Since there doesn't seem to be any other way to (possibly) get the manga, the only way is to visit their website (in italian only) using the below link. |

| In the meantime, a new italian release of the "Jungle Emperor" manga has been published in Italy by Hazard Edizioni from January to March 2005. The books can be ordered online on their website, and on Amazon.com Italy (see ordering links below). | ||||||||||||||||

| Portuguese "Kimba O Leao Branco" manga from Brazil | ||||||||||||||||
| The portuguese version of the "Jungle Emperor" manga books has been released in Brazil for the first time by NewPop on March 22, 2013. The books are in the A5 (15 x 21 cm) format and cost R$ 24,90 each. In Taiwan "Jungle Emperor" manga has been published two times - in June 1994 and in June 2003. These books are printed in chinese. The below ordering links are from books.com.tw (entirely in chinese), and the books are available but it appears to be some sort of a time-limited offer. |
