The Kimba videogame story (so far)
Update: serbian broadcast history 1996–2002
I have just expanded the broadcast archive with meticulously researched, precise television airing data for Kimba and Leo in Serbia in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Thanks to extensive research of old serbian newspapers for local TV schedules with the website http://pretraziva.rs/ I have added/updated on the History pages 1990s, 2000s and J - V the following historical milestones:
• 1996: Lav Leo, kralj džungle (the 1984 Leo the Lion dub) aired weekly on TV 1 Beograd (Sundays at 11:30 AM, March - August).
• 1998: The series returned on TV 3 Beograd (3K / 3rd channel), broadcasting two episodes every Saturday afternoon from March to September.
• 1998 & 1999: Precise airing logs for the 1993 Kimba the White Lion remake (Kimba, beli lav) on TV 2 Beograd and TV Novi Sad.
• 2002: Documented rare airings of the 1993 remake on TV Novi Sad 1.
